Traditional Origami & Paper Crafts with a modern twist

  • About My Work

Japanese Traditional Origami into Modern World

    Our Culture

"Shiki (四季)", the four seasons, is one of the special features in Japan. There are four distinct seasons and people enjoy seasonal changes, especially the colors of the landscapes. Origami has so many colors and designs that you can express each season infinitely. We love making origami to represent something special for each seasonal event.

    Materials

I use a wide range of origami papers from general craft store to Japanese traditional paper store called Mino Washi (Mino Washi is designated a Traditional Craft). Some of the products have a coating on them so those are not as fragile as you might think!

    Share

I would like to share my ideas. Origami takes slow and steady effort but it is satisfying when it's done. You can do so much more from a piece of paper and explore your creativity.
